The legend: in the fight since 1620

The year 1620 and the Battle of White Mountain mark the birth of a new way of waging war. As mounted infantry, dragoons used horses for mobility — then dismounted to fight.

That DNA still shapes the Panzergrenadiere (mechanized infantry) today. Whether in the saddle back then or in the SPz Marder and Puma now, the combination of mobility and firepower remains the tactical foundation. The design unites both worlds — the dragoon framed in the sight of the tank track.
