Description

QUIS UT DEUS EMBROIDERED PATCH - Who is like God?

When you jump, you rely on your training, on your canopy and on the man who packed it. For the rest, paratroopers have always had the Archangel Michael.

Who is like God? That is what the name Michael means. When Lucifer rose against God, the archangel hurled exactly these words at him and cast him out of heaven. “Quis ut Deus” is the Latin form of that call. Michael is the patron saint of paratroopers. Like them, he stands where the decision falls, and does not give way.

On the black patch a sword runs through the serpent, with the call next to it in blackletter. Everything is embroidered, not printed. The contours are clean, the edge is firmly stitched, and the colours don’t fade. The hook-and-loop backing holds it on your plate carrier, rucksack or helmet.

That gives you a mark that goes out with you. On jump days, into field training, on deployment. And when you change your kit, it simply moves with you.

At Predator Customs we care a lot about good packaging. Your patch arrives properly packed. That also makes it a strong small gift for a paratrooper, for a passed jump course or for Michaelmas on 29 September.

Pairs with: the Fallschirmjäger Shirt, the Fallschirmjäger Flag and the Quis ut Deus Premium Lasercut Patch.

Quis ut Deus. By paratroopers, for paratroopers.

Frequently asked questions

Can I get this design anywhere else?

No. Our designs are created here, drawn by hand and without AI. Every detail is drawn, not generated. You can only get them from us, so you won’t run into your design on every corner.

Embroidered or laser-cut patch, what’s the difference?

On an embroidered patch the design is stitched. The colour sits in the thread, so it stays strong for a long time, and the design has a raised look.

A laser-cut patch has two layers. The laser cuts the design into the top layer, and through the cut-outs you see the layer below, which forms the background. The cut edges don’t fray. Our premium patches are made of matte Cordura.

Embroidered looks classic, laser-cut looks flat and low-key. Your call.

Can the patch go in the wash?

Take it off first. In the machine the hook side collects lint and loses its grip, and it’s easier on your clothes too. If the patch is dirty, a damp cloth is enough.

Who is behind Predator Customs?

Soldiers. It all started in 2023 during the evacuation operation in Sudan. Because an evacuation like that happens at short notice, there were no deployment shirts. So we designed our own and sold them at cost within the Fallschirmjäger regiment. Designs, crests and flags for all kinds of units followed.

Today we design for Fallschirmjäger, Gebirgsjäger, Jäger, Panzergrenadiere and Pioniere. You’ll find troop language and details here that only those who have served know.

Our base is Günztalstraße 5, 87761 Lauben-Frickenhausen, in Germany’s Allgäu region.

Does this make a good gift?

Yes. If you’re unsure about size or design, go for the gift card worth 25, 50 or 100 euros. It arrives as a real card by post.

Can I send it back if I don’t like it?

Yes, you have 30 days, on top of your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal. Just email info@predator-customs.com with your order number first, and you’ll get the details for the return.

The goods must be unused and in their original packaging, clothing with the hang tag attached. Your money is back no later than ten working days after we’ve checked the return. We can’t take back custom orders or gift cards.

Can’t find your question? Email info@predator-customs.com and you’ll get an answer from us personally.
