Our new drop "Teutonic Warfare Solutions" is coming soon. This post takes a look at the design decisions and historical references behind the new motifs, which deliberately build a visual contrast between Germanic history and modern tactical elements.
The backprint: history meets modern gear
The main motif on the back works with a clear visual juxtaposition: a stylised Germanic berserker bearskin is combined directly with a modern night-vision device (NVG) peering out from under the hood. This montage pictures the link between asymmetric ancient warfare and present-day equipment.
Behind it, two rune-adorned Germanic war axes cross with a classic German Army folding spade. These tools span the historical arc from close combat to modern field tool across different eras.
The design is framed by the lettering "TEUTONIC WARFARE SOLUTIONS", "death to the oppressor" and the date "9 A.D.". The latter references the Battle of Teutoburg in 9 AD, in which Germanic tribes defeated three Roman legions through a well-planned ambush. This event halted Rome's expansion in the region and laid an essential foundation for what would later become Germany.
The front motif: symmetry and symbolism
The heart print on the left chest is more graphically reduced and built strictly symmetrically.
The background is formed by the upward-pointing Tyr rune (Tiwaz), which gives the motif structure and historically stands for battle, but also for law. In front of it, as the central element, sits the detailed skull of a German red stag with sprawling antlers. It establishes a geographic link to the settings of Germanic history.
The vertically arranged typography PRDT CSTMS (Predator Customs) flanks the skull and fits flush into the symmetry of the antlers.
The shirt: material and details
To match the striking prints, we chose a high-quality black fabric. The shirt is made of a thick 100% cotton material and, thanks to its loose, comfortable cut, offers optimal wearing comfort for everyday use. As a final detail and subtle branding, a Predator Customs label with our logo is sewn into the sleeve.
